Workshops during HIVIB2024 Conference!

Dear Attendees,

We are delighted to announce that as part of the HIVIB2024 event, in addition to fruitful discussions and debates on topics related to the dynamics of constructions, exceptional workshops will also take place!

Together with our official Sponsor, EC System (an expert in measurement, diagnostic, and simulation solutions in the field of vibrations and acoustics), Polytec (a producer of Doppler laser vibrometers), and Cracow University of Technology, we cordially invite you to workshops focusing on non-contact vibration measurements using Doppler laser vibrometers.

The workshops will not be limited to theory! The capabilities of Doppler lasers will be demonstrated on-site during shaking table tests. The research will be conducted on a shaking table constructed by the team of employees from Cracow University of Technology, led by Prof. Tadeusz Tatara. During the workshops, a measurement technique aimed at determining the basic dynamic characteristics of a chimney model made using 3D printing technology will be demonstrated. There will be an opportunity to practically test various types of laser vibrometers, including the scanning laser vibrometer PSV-500-1D-Xtra and the portable laser vibrometer VibroGo VGO-200. The results obtained during the workshops will be compared with measurements conducted using an accelerometer set.

at the ABB Ltd. laboratory

and at Cracow University of Technology 

located at 114 Lea Street in Krakow.
